The Principal's Message
As I enter my fifth year as Principal at St. Michael Catholic Elementary School, I would like to extend warm wishes to our St. Michael Catholic Elementary School Community with the hope and intent that we continue to have another wonderful year together as a Catholic community rooted in the teachings of the Gospel.
I am grateful to be working alongside Mr. Sam Musa, Vice Principal. Mr. Musa brings great knowledge and experience to the role.
This year, the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association is pleased to
continue to celebrate and honour the ongoing Jubilee Year which continues until January 6, 2026.
Celebrating Catholic Education will be a year long journey as we continue to accompany each other on
our Pilgrims of Hope theme. Hope is foundational to our faith. We find hope in God’s grace and love.
Catholic Education Week 2026 is scheduled to take place during the week of May 3 – May 8. The
Ontario Catholic School Trustee’s Association has announced the theme for Catholic Education Week
2026: Catholic Education: Pilgrims of Hope: On the Path to Holiness.
The scripture passage for the week is: “As God who called you is holy, be holy yourselves.” (1 Peter
1:15-16)
As a Catholic school, we will continue to inspire engaged student learning, provide opportunities for students to succeed, while capitalizing on strengths and identifying areas that require further growth and development.
Together, we will work to communicate with parents and guardians, as well as community partners and parish to help ensure the academic, social emotional, and physical growth of the students in our care. It truly takes a partnership between home, community, school, and parish to promote a growth mindset in students and to ensure that we develop to our full potential.
We are grateful to work alongside a Catholic School Council who is committed to the well-being of students in our Catholic community. I look forward to the continued work that we will partake in together to benefit our student body and Catholic community.
We are grateful to our Parish, Sts. Peter and Paul, and the pastoral team who continue to inspire us through Catholic and Gospel values and teachings through scripture. We will look forward for the continued work we will do together to promote servant leadership.
Together, we work to accept the individual unique qualities that we all bring to our school community and to celebrate our diversity. We are all created in the image and likeness of God and we promote the philosophy that “each belongs.”
My wish is that each of our families continues to be blessed with health and happiness.
Mrs. A. Boyle
