Catholic School Council Nomination Letter 2024
Catholic School Councils play an important advisory role in protecting and promoting the gift of publicly funded Catholic Education and share in the privilege/responsibility of "placing Christ and the teachings of the Catholic Church at the centre" of students' learning experiences. The support of the Catholic School Councils in fostering academic and co-curricular excellence, faith formation, and well-being is increasingly important and valued.
Parents, including guardians and caregivers, are the first educators of their child(ren) and as such are a vital part of a child's school life to both support and sustain student faith development, achievement and well-being. Parents' active involvement in the Catholic School Council(CSC) at their child's school contributes to the strengthening of the Home, School, and Parish partnership and serves to foster positive relationships.
The date of the CSC elections meeting is Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Learning Commons. A letter with nominations forms have been sent to your individual emails today.
